Corfu

Like we did on our first trip to Corfu five years ago, we spent most of our time at the beach in Dassia and explored Corfu Town where I was happy to visit Bosketto Durrell, a park which celebrates Gerald D.’s naturalist writing. I Just finished reading “My Family and Other Animals” and found the metaphors stunning and the characters, both familial and local, vivid and funny. The Venetians’ influence after four hundred years of rule is obvious when walking around Corfu Town: much of the city’s design reminded us of Belagio on Lake Como.
Nils and Aliki’s Wedding
We just returned from Corfu, Greece, where we attended Nils and Aliki’s wedding at the Cathedral of Corfu & Pasos in Corfu Town.
